Mogo Games Studio had the pleasure of hosting Jason Alejandre, the President and Creative Director of Game Mechanic Studios (GMS). Jason is a veteran of the gaming industry, with over 20 years of experience in developing and producing some of the world’s most popular and successful games, such as “Call of Duty,” “Medal of Honor,” and “Mortal Kombat.” His visit to our studio proved to be an invaluable learning experience for everyone involved.

Jason’s visit was organized with the aim of providing our team with an opportunity to learn from his vast knowledge and experience in game development. During his visit, he shared with us some of the key elements that make a game successful, including attention to detail, a focus on quality, and a deep understanding of the target audience.

One of the things that stood out during Jason’s presentation was his emphasis on the importance of game mechanics. He explained that game mechanics are the backbone of any game, and that they should be developed with great care and attention to detail. Jason shared his experience of working on several game franchises, including “Mortal Kombat,” and how they were able to create a unique experience for players by focusing on game mechanics.

Another topic that Jason touched on was the importance of storytelling in game development. He explained how storytelling can elevate a game from being merely a fun experience to being a truly memorable and emotionally engaging experience.

Jason also discussed the challenges that come with developing games for different platforms and devices. He shared some tips and tricks that his team has learned over the years, which have helped them to optimize their games for various platforms, including consoles, PCs, and mobile devices.

Overall, Jason’s visit to our studio was a tremendous success. His insights and experience were invaluable to our team, and we learned a great deal about what it takes to create successful and engaging games. We are grateful to Jason for taking the time to share his knowledge with us, and we look forward to applying what we learned to our future projects.
